You regularly hear that women want a man to be courteous and respectful. They want a man to pull out chairs, pay for dinner and open doors. If a man doesn’t do this he is considered to be insensitive and would probably not make a excellent boyfriend. So what a man can do to ensure that a woman does not see him this way is perform the basic courtesies but not go overboard with it.

Seeing if he takes charge:

Women would regularly test a man to see if he has the ability to take charge in a situation.

Regularly the woman will question the man where they will be going for dinner that night and what else they’ll be doing that night. If the man acts like he is uncertain or puts it in the woman’s hands to choose, then she will see him as not having the ability to take charge.

So remember when you go out with a woman, do not be worried to take charge and lead the way.

Seeing if he can stand up to her:

A lot of women are used to dealing with guys who have no backbone, they find it refreshing when a guy can really have enough nerve to speak up to them and say no once in a even as. A guy doesn’t have to be a jerk to say no to a woman. Just don’t be disrespectful about it. Women will appreciate your genuineness; they’ll see you as having the nerve to be different from the kind of guys they’re used to dealing with. No matter what you do, women will keep on testing you throughout the duration of the relationship. They have to know that the man that they’re dealing with is truly a man and will be able to stand up for them if the situation calls for.
